09/10/19 – Happy face

I cycled into work today, and back home! An eighteen mile round trip, the first time since July due to various reasons. I’m just so pleased, I’m finally getting my head back in order and it feels wonderful.

08/10/19 – Favourite sunsets

It’s that time of the year where commutes get so beautiful. Yes it may be windy and rainy, but I feel it’s worth it for the increidble sunsets we get just as we head home for the day, like this one today!

07/10/19 – Self care

I’m doing it, I’m pulling my finger out and looking after myself more. Starting with the small stuff like painting my nails, and repairing my bike, both of which I got done today! I’m already feeling better and deternind to keep plugging on.

06/10/19 – New baby!

I finally did it! I bought my new MacBook pro for contracting. It’s a big day!! Today Nic and I went into town, got this baby and then had a wonderful dinner at Dishoom with his old colleagues.

05/10/19 – Rambling Saturday

It’s probably not rambling but I just enjoy saying that word… Today Nic and I got the bus to New Addington to see the views from the view point there. It was a really nice walk, we ended up doing seven miles all through the woodland there.

04/10/19 – Mariana’s 30th!

After a calm day working from home, I headed to Crystal Palace to meet up with Nic and lots of friends to celebrate Mariana’s birthday! It was super fun and we spent the whole evening chatting away with new and old friends.

03/10/19 – Leaving do

Tonight we went out for Kirsty’s leaving do as tomorrow is her last day at Flag. It was super fun and such a delight to hang out with everyone from work. I’m sad that it’ll be my turn to leave in two weeks!

02/10/19 – Chilly October

The first window condensation of the year! It feels like we’ve leaped head first into autumn by venturing into October. Crisps mornings are here and I’m slightly giddy for them. This nasty heavy rain can do one though…

01/10/19 – Drummer evening

Lovely evening with Nic tonight! After dinner we played on our drum kit for a while, taking turns to play White Stripes songs. A good way to get out stress!

30/09/19 – Goodbye September

After a terrible nights sleep, I woke up to this glorious sunrise. Granted I might have traded it for a couple more hours of sleep, but it was nice to wake up to such a warm glow.
