Well, that took an unexpected turn! This morning whilst we were working out our plan of things to do today my NHS Covid App told me I needed to self isolate for four days! A massive blow for us. Nic and I decided we had to jump in the car and head home to ourContinue reading “27/06/21 – Change of plan”
That’s it, we’re officially on our holiday! The tent is all set up and the family is all here. And it’s a wonderful first day ending with a sunset walk on the beach.
I’m on my hols I’m on my hols!! This Steph now has two weeks of work free time and I’m so happy for that. I’ve had an exhausting week and I’m ready for my eye to stop twitching!
Coming home from work to this little face certainly puts a massive smile on my little face! Jasper the cat’s little tongue is truly one of life’s real treasures. Such a lovely evening after work with Nic’s family (cat included).
A lovely lunchtime break today, sitting on the edge of the river eating my lovely wrap from M&S. The sun is back shining and it’s making me very happy! Busy day at work but just two days before I’m on holiday for two weeks!

Not the office but an office. Today I’m working at a hot desk in a very rainy Exeter. This was my lunchtime view. It’s been an exceptionally productive day, with lunch out with Nic and taking myself to the cinema after work for a little Steph date! This weather ain’t getting me down.
Today was super rainy so we headed to a shopping outlet to get some long overdue shopping done. We didn’t end up finding too much but we did get four pairs of Vans between us, so I’d count that as a success! And we had a lovely lunch with Nic’s mum and dad to topContinue reading “20/06/21 – Shooooes!”
We’ve made it to Devon to visit Nic’s mum, dad and Jasper the adorable cat! We’ve been greeted by lots and lots of rain but it’s still wonderful to get away from London for a bit that’s for sure!
Lots and lots more rain today. To the point we noticed our gutters filling up… We tried to have a go ourselves but I definitely think we need to get professionals in. We sheltered in the dry today, so not much else happened!
