19/02/23 – Big sledging day!
Today was such a fun day. We sledged a 5.5km run! We went over 40km/h for one part of it! It was probably the highlight of the holiday for me and what glorious weather for it too. Happy happy Steph. Today was a bit less extreme than yesterday but it was still a load of fun. We started out the morning hiking down to Meiringen for a later coffee and pastry breakfast. Today was seriously a load of fun. Nic and I set off to hike up the Käserstatt. We walked over green grass, piste snow, and finally knee high snow! 16/02/23 – Off to Switzerland
We’ve made it to Mel’s! It was a very straightforward and easy journey, as is always the way in Switzerland… We had a cheeky beer on the train to celebrate. After a busy afternoon in Luzerne watching the festival for a bit we headed to Mel’s for a relaxing afternoon.
15/02/23 – Stage one complete
We’ve made it to our Heathrow Hotel! It took us a few hours to get here due to train delays and the like, but we’ve had a lovely dinner and now it’s time to relax ahead of tomorrow’s big day of travelling.
14/02/23 – Valentine’s walk and packing
We started and finished our packing today for our trip to Switzerland tomorrow to visit my sister! At lunch we went for a sunny walk which really geared me up for spring as lots of flowers are starting to bloom from all the milder weather we’ve been having.
13/02/23 – New mirror selfie!
Okay so not much happened today. But that doesn’t mean I can’t stop being happy about our lovely new mirror! Cheeeeese.
