Today’s weather was too good to miss out on so I hoped on my bike for a trip via Central London! I stopped off at tower Bridge to eat my first creme egg of the season then headed back home again. It was wonderful to get out into the sunshine and see London for theContinue reading “17/01/21 – Cycle and an egg!”
I woke up to this glorious wintery scene this morning. This isn’t a black and white photo, it’s covered in frost! I waited a couple hours for it to thaw a bit and then popped on my many layers and headed out for a cycle. I went to Carshalton, round to Purley and then homeContinue reading “10/01/21 – Carshalton cycle trip!”
Life is quite hard right now, but I take solice in this blog as I know soon enough I’ll look back and this will all be harmless memories. We strolled round the city walking miles before finally settling at a bar for a couple of final beers. This was our first trip to Belgium and it certainly won’t be outContinue reading “24/10/19 – Day drinking in Brussels”
Today we climbed the 366 steps up the Belfort Tower and got defended by the incredible bells.. We had gorgeous views of the square though! And then followed it up with a huge mug of hot chocolate.
Bruges is truly gorgeous. We’ve had a fantastic day mulling around, taking photos and drinking beer. We’ve been so lucky with the weather as well. Belgium has been wonderful so far!
After a minor delay and a few mini bottles of wine, we’ve made it to Bruges! Our short getaway between contracts has begun and we’ve already had chips and mayo, perfect.
