London hit over 40 degrees today and it was HOT. This was how hot it was on our top floor of the house before Nic made a swift escape to the cooler living room. It was quite scary as there were a lot of fires around the UK, with a couple being within a few miles of where we live. Luckily it peaked around 4pm and has been coming down ever since. We even got a little bit of rain in the evening!
